You surely noticed our new badges by now – in this blog post we would like to explain the new badges and how some of the old ones did change.
We added some badges to the Go for the Million series, also we did change the conditions for receiving the two Veteran badges as well, since we don’t want to make reaching them just too easy 😉
From now on, you will receive the Veteran Candidate badge after having done 100 Spots and the Veteran badge after 500 Spots.
The badges we added to the Go for the Million series are these:
Go for the Million – Starter, which you receive after having earned 10.000 StreetPoints
Go for the Million – Walker, which you receive after having earned 50.000 StreetPoints
Go for the Million – Runner, which you receive after having earned 100.000 StreetPoints
Go for the Million – Sprinter, which you receive after having earned 200.000 StreetPoints
Also, we renamed the Globe Trotter badge and would like you to welcome City Hopper instead!
There are two variations of the City Hopper:
City Hopper Superstar, which you receive after having done 50 Spots in 50 different cities
And the City Hopper Master, after having done 100 Spots in 100 different cities.
For all photography – loving Spotrs we added a Spy Photographer badge after 10.000 uploaded pictures in total!
Here’s one for the sleepy heads: upload 50 Spots between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. and earn the Night Owl badge – Spots don’t have to be uploaded in one go!
Are you a fan of the Reporting Spots? Go crazy and earn yourself some badges!
After 50 Find a location-Spots you can call yourself Reporting Racer and after 100 you’ll receive the Reporting Pro badge!
Sometimes we need to take things less seriously – that’s why we added a badge that’s to be taken with some humour: the Limit Breaker!
You will receive the Limit Breaker after 15 paid Spots have been rejected, amendments do not count.
Finally, there are two more new badges:
Money Rain, if you finish 100 paid Spots within 7 days
And Money Maker, if you requested a payout of the incentive for at least 50 Spots at the same time!
Furthermore, we cut out some badges that have become unreachable, for example because they were based on and used for a specific campaign: Fast & Furious, Adventurer, Baywatch, Xmas2015.
We know that some of the badges have become a lot harder to reach, but that’s part of the fun after all, isn’t it?
You can find an overview to all the badges in the app or on this website: https://app.streetspotr.com/en/badges
Have fun and Happy Spotting!
